The warning signs
Sound familiar?
Most people don’t think about their drains until something goes wrong. Then it goes wrong all at once.
Your toilet gurgles, or drains slower than it used to
The shower backs up when the washing machine empties
There’s a smell in the yard and you can’t find the source
A patch of lawn is suspiciously green, or suspiciously soggy
The drain has been cleared before and blocked again months later
Someone’s already quoted you to dig up the driveway
That last one is why people call us!
Older clay and PVC pipes break as the ground shifts. Tree roots find the crack, get in, and keep growing. Clearing the blockage helps for a while, but the roots come back, because the hole is still there.
Relining fixes the holes and cracks.

How does it work?
Pipe relining is a no dig way of repairing damaged sewer and stormwater pipes from the inside, without excavation. A flexible sleeve soaked in resin goes in through an existing access point, gets inflated against the inside of your pipe, and cures hard in a few hours into a smooth, joint free pipe within your old one.
It works because the cured liner is seamless. There are no joints and no cracks for tree roots to get back into, which is what causes a cleared drain to block again a few months later. Most jobs are finished in a day, and your driveway, garden and floors are left exactly as they were.

How relining works
1
We look first
Matt sends a camera down the drain and shows you exactly where the damage is and how bad it is. This bit is free, and you see the footage yourself, so you’re not taking anyone’s word for it.
2
We clean it out
Roots, grease and build up all come out with high pressure water jetting, and a cutting robot where the roots have really taken hold. The old pipe gets back to bare walls, ready for lining.
3
We line it
A sleeve soaked in resin goes in through an existing access point and gets inflated against the inside of your pipe. It cures hard in a few hours into a smooth, joint free pipe inside your old one.
4
The result
No cracks for roots to get back into and no joints left to shift. Just a smooth new pipe inside the old one, with a 50 year life expectancy and our 35 year guarantee behind it.

Relining isn’t right for every pipe. If yours has collapsed completely, digging may be the only option. Matt will tell you either way after the camera goes down.
What we fix
What we do

Trenchless pipe relining
The full job. We line a complete run of pipe end to end. It’s the go to for sewer and stormwater lines under driveways, slabs and gardens.

Sectional patch relining
For damage limited to one section or where pipes join, we reline the exact area that needs attention, including the junction and branch, without replacing the whole run.

CCTV drain inspections
A camera down the line so you can see exactly what’s there. You watch the footage yourself, so the quote is based on the real problem rather than a guess. Free with every quote.

Satellite junction repair
Where a branch meets the main line is where drains most often fail. We repair the junction itself, including the start of the branch, working from inside the pipe rather than digging it up.

Robotic cutting
A cutting robot sent down the line to grind out roots, hardened grease and build up that water jetting alone will not shift. It reaches what nobody could get to without digging.

Blocked drains
Blocked toilet, blocked sink, blocked stormwater. We’ll clear it, then put the camera down to show you why it blocked, so you can decide whether it needs fixing properly.
The two resins
Two options, and we’ll be straight with you about both
Not all relining is the same, and the difference is the resin.

Epoxy resin, what we recommend
The premium product, and the one we use on most jobs. It’s stronger, it bonds better, and it’s what our 35 year guarantee and 50 year life expectancy are based on. If you’re fixing a pipe under a driveway or a slab, this is the one you want, because you really don’t want to be going back in there.

Silicate resin, the cheaper option
It costs less and it’ll get you 10 to 15 years out of the relined pipe. There are situations where that’s the sensible call, like a rental you’re about to sell, or a pipe in an easy access spot, and we’ll say so if that’s yours.
We’ll quote whichever is right for your situation and explain why. No upsell.

Reviews

Resolved Pipe Relining is the relining side of Resolved Plumbing, the same business, the same Matt, and a new name for the work we do most of. These are our reviews.
Service area
Resolved is based in Penrith and covers the Blue Mountains, Penrith, the Hawkesbury and the Hills District. That takes in Emu Plains, Glenbrook, Mt Riverview, Glenmore Park, Springwood, Winmalee, Blaxland, Katoomba, Leura, Windsor, Bligh Park, Kenthurst, Cattai and Dural.
A lot of these streets are older and tree lined, and the houses on them still run on their original clay pipes. That combination is exactly what relining is built to fix.
